• Characters: Jenni Frost (Martian Host), Elon Musk (Founder of SpaceX)
• Audience: Earth viewers, watching via live stream

[SCENE START]
A Martian Adventure
Scene: XMars Studio, Martian Colony
Jenni Frost, a charismatic Martian host, stands before a large plasma screen. The audience, dressed in futuristic spacesuits, cheers and applauds.
Jenni: Good morning, XMars viewers! Welcome to our fourth season on Mars. We can all thank Elon Musk for his vision of colonizing the Red Planet.
Jenni: Today, temperatures along the equator will reach a pleasant minus 70 degrees F (20 degrees C ). However, last night was frigid, dropping to a bone-chilling minus 100 degrees F (minus 73 degrees C ). Thankfully, our new spacesuits, another innovation from Elon Musk, protect us from the harsh Martian environment. Dust storms are a regular occurrence here, but these suits keep us safe and comfortable.
Jenni: A big shout-out to our maintenance team! They work tirelessly to conserve our equipment, shelter, and water. Their motto, “Prevention is always the best policy,” ensures the smooth operation of our colony. Without their mechanical expertise, we wouldn’t survive.
While we’ve made significant progress, we still rely on Earth for essential components that need to be replaced every five years.
Jenni: One of our biggest challenges is the frequent failures of our AI systems. We’ve had to stockpile backup components, sealed in lead to prevent solar damage. Our entire colony depends on “A.I. Alisha,” and a malfunction could be catastrophic.
Jenni: Even our High Range Rovers, which we affectionately call “Devil Dusters,” face the harsh Martian conditions. We currently have 20 Rovers out of commission, some stranded in the vast Valles Marineris region. They certainly missed that one during their brainstorming – didn’t they ! No sarcasm here.
It’s a reminder of the challenges we face in this harsh environment. The Grand Canyon of Mars, Valles Marineris, dwarfs Earth’s Grand Canyon, stretching over 3000 kilometers with a width of 600 kilometers.

Jenni: Speaking of challenges, I’m curious how everyone on Earth is doing.
A live feed from Earth appears on the screen. Bog, a viewer from Earth, waves.
Jenni: Hey, Bog! How’s it going?
Bog: Not bad, Jenni. Just trying to survive another day on this crazy planet.
Jenni: I know, right? At least you don’t have to worry about dust storms and extreme temperatures.
Bog: Yeah, but I do have to worry about traffic, pollution, and the cost of living.
Jenni: Well, at least you have a variety of food to choose from. Here, we’re lucky if we can find a decent meal.
Jenni: Okay, folks, I have a very special guest joining us today. It’s been months in the making, and I’m excited to introduce the founder of Mars, the one and only Elon Musk!

The audience cheers and applauds as Elon Musk appears on the screen.
Jenni: Good morning, Elon Musk! Welcome to Sol Day 3000!
Elon Musk: Thank you! It’s a privilege to be back on Mars.
Jenni: Elon, you look incredible! How do you do it?
Elon Musk: I must credit my esteemed team of scientists on Earth. They developed the “Android Exoskeleton,” which has extended my life significantly.
Elon Musk pauses…
Elon Musk : My ‘X’ platform served as a teaser for what was to come,” Elon Musk explained. “The rumours became reality when I introduced the futuristic model of ‘The SpaceX Android Skeleton.’ I became the first participant in this groundbreaking technology during an SpaceX media event in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 10, 2062, at my multibillion-dollar resort and casino, Cleopatra.”
JENNI: It seems like a lucrative venture. I heard that the extremely wealthy and celebrities were among the first to try the Android Exoskeleton. Isn’t that right, Elon?
ELON MUSK: Absolutely. Their initial investment was crucial in making this technology accessible to the general public.
JENNI: I heard the cost was initially quite high.
ELON MUSK: That’s correct. In the beginning, it cost around $200 million credits.
JENNI: Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. You disappeared from the public eye for five years. There were rumours that your health was failing and that the Android Exoskeleton wasn’t working as planned.

ELON MUSK: Those were just rumours. The media loves to spread fake news. Remember when Ex-President Donald Trump was always calling out fake news?
ELON MUSK: I needed a break. Being a celebrity comes with its challenges. I can’t go anywhere without an entourage and constant security.
ELON MUSK: Everyone needs a break sometimes. My favourite escape is a remote tropical island with my sixth wife.

Jenni: That’s amazing! I thought the rumours were exaggerated.
Jenni: Speaking of your achievements, the SpaceX Android Exoskeleton is groundbreaking. It’s revolutionized life on Mars.
Elon Musk: Absolutely! It started as a luxury item for the wealthy, but now it’s becoming more accessible to the average Martian.
Jenni: I hear the Tesla V is also a huge hit!
Elon Musk: Yes, our hovercraft has been a game-changer for transportation on Mars. It’s efficient, fast, and can reach remote areas.
Jenni: But that’s not all, is it, Elon? You have a special announcement for us Martians.
Elon Musk: That’s right, Jenni! We’ve been working on a groundbreaking project to terraform Mars and make it habitable for humans. We’ve named it “Musk Destroyers.”
Jenni: I can’t wait to hear more!
Elon Musk: Using a network of weather satellites, we’ll manipulate Mars’ atmosphere in three stages: increasing the magnetosphere, producing a breathable atmosphere, and raising the temperature. This process will transform Mars into a planet suitable for human life.
Jenni: This is incredible news! It’s a dream come true for many of us.
Jenni: I remember my great grandfather, Bari Marcus Anthony, always talking about space travel and colonization. He was a visionary science fiction writer.
Elon Musk: His work must have inspired you.
Jenni: Absolutely! His stories ignited my passion for exploration and adventure. My entire life has been dedicated to this goal. My great grandfather, Bari Marcus Anthony, inspired me with his vision of space exploration and colonization.

ELON MUSK: Tell me more about him.
JENNI: He was one of the most creative science fiction writers of his time. Unfortunately, his talent wasn’t recognized during his lifetime. He wrote countless stories, books, and screenplays, but it wasn’t until after his death that people realized his genius.
JENNI: He used to read me bedtime stories from his collection of science fiction. After reading his thrilling horror story,”Black Angels,” I was hooked.
JENNI: I often joke that my great grandfather is responsible for my love of adventure and desire to explore the cosmos. He always said, “Never put all your eggs in the same basket.”
JENNI: Speaking of potential threats, remember the Bennu Asteroid? Scientists predict it will come within 8000 meters of Earth’s atmosphere on July 10, 2173. Thankfully, with our advanced technology, we can accurately track its path. We have 50 years to see if their predictions are correct.
ELON MUSK: Clears throat Excuse me, Jenni. I believe you were about to say something.
JENNI: Oh my! I got carried away. So, I heard the opening celebrations are next week. Is that correct?
Elon Musk: That’s right! We’ll be cutting the ceremonial ribbon and starting the process of transforming Mars.
Jenni: This is a historic moment for humanity and reminiscent of Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon. Remember his iconic words,”That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind”? And let’s not forget Alyssa Carson, the first woman to set foot on Mars in August 2033, thanks to NASA and SpaceX.
ELON MUSK: Absolutely! And don’t forget the day my team laid the groundwork by sending supplies, food, and comfortable habitats to Mars. We even sent machines to produce water. Those were exciting times, weren’t they? Who can forget the “Great Space Race”?
Elon laughs
Elon Musk: It’s a new beginning for Mars and a testament to human ingenuity.
Jenni: Thank you, Elon Musk, for joining us today. Your vision and leadership have brought us to this incredible moment.
Elon Musk: It’s been my pleasure.
Jenni addresses her audience…
JENNI: That’s a wrap, everyone! I’m Jenni Frost, daughter of Zoe Franklin and granddaughter of the renowned science fiction author, Bari Marcus Anthony.
As my grandfather would say, “May the Cosmic Dimensional Universes of Endless Time be at your back as you explore the new horizons of infinity.”
Warm wishes to all my lovely viewers. See you on Mars soon!
