When I first sat down to write my novel, Guardians of Humanity, the entire narrative engine was driven by an overarching storyline of the Black Angels.

But Earth is far from empty. Between violent environments, rival factions, and the rapidly evolving ape humanoids walking the surface, the Sirians are forced into an impossible choice: do they preserve their dying race at the cost of Earth’s indigenous life?
