Year 2028
The President’s aide, her voice firm, called for silence in the room. “Please be seated, everyone. Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States!”
The President of the United States entered the conference room, accompanied by an unfamiliar figure.
“Good afternoon,” the President began. “As your President, I’ve gathered you here today for an event of profound historical significance to all nations. Without further ado, I present to you our esteemed guest, Councillor Javous.”
Councillor Javous approached the podium, a tall, slender humanoid, unmistakably not human.
Javous bowed to the President. “Thank you. Where to begin? Let’s start from the very beginning…
There are but a few of us remaining. We harbour no anger, no hate, no greed.
Our race came to Earth during the time humans called the Greek civilization, approximately 300 BC.
Our spacecraft was not intended to land on Earth but on another Earth-like planet in sector 64-65. Unfortunately, during our slipstream voyage through the temporal rift, the vortex violently crashed, sending our ancestors unexpectedly into Earth’s atmosphere.
The engineers and flight crew were unable to save their massive craft from plunging into the vast sea you call the Mediterranean. But they did manage to preserve a disc-shaped structure, at the terrible cost of over a thousand lives on board.
Only 432 survived the wreckage.
Although our ancestors’ craft was severely damaged, it did not sink to the bottom of the sea.
Lacking provisions and proper tools, they were at the mercy of the dark ages. Another two hundred souls were crucified before my ancestors reached the final conclusion that they must distance themselves from human beings.
You may have heard of us in your historical accounts as the island of Atlantis.
In fact, our race is called Atlantia or Atlantians.
The remaining crew of Atlantis decided it was best to hide away from mankind’s backward civilization, driven by greed and war. Therefore, we devised a clever plan.
As recorded by Plato in 360 BC, ‘… afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea.’
Our disguised spacecraft, floating on the Mediterranean Sea resembling the inner part of an existing island, was enough to deceive mankind long enough for us to find safety for our species. We even traded with the Egyptians and the Athenians , providing them with silk made from gold, along with advanced seaworthy vessels. In return we refurbished our stocks of flour , fruits and vegetables; since we aren’t considered to be farmers. Atlantis was known across the Mediterranean as the richest and most powerful island throughout the lands. Eventually, the Athenians were jealous of our advanced technology and power, they devised a way to attack us . It may be written that the Athenians defeated us, but that wasn’t the case at all. In desperation of being discovered for who we truly were, we devised a plan disguised as an emerging volcanic vault from the depths of the sea, swallowing up Allantis. To many it looked like the end to Atlantean’s, but in reality, our ancestors moved their craft, fleeing to an unknown region of the globe, far away from Earth’s civilization, to rebuild and evaluate human intentions .
We are a peaceful race, finding mankind a savage species, destine for power and greed. It was best we kept our distance to coexist, until the time humans became more civilized.
Even today, in the year of our Lord 2028, we closely monitor mankind’s progress from a safe distance. Your technology has advanced more rapidly in recent years, but unfortunately, you haven’t addressed your thirst for power and greed; not to mention the impending threat of the approaching asteroid Apophis scheduled in the year 2068. Apophis was rightfully named by the Egyptians as the serpent god of chaos because it is indeed the impending destruction of Earth’s civilization as you know it today. It will make the dinosaur extinction (known as Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago ) look like a drop-in-the-bucket compared to the upcoming Apophis Event. In 2029 it will peacefully pass by earth at a mere distance of only 30,600 km , providing visible eye contact. However , in 2068, it will undoubtedly hit earth causing enviable chaos.
Although we prefer to remain uninvolved with mankind, it has become necessary for the survival of all living things on this planet.
Therefore, our council has issued an order to intervene and take control of the situation before it’s too late. In the year of our Lords 2032, a stream of plasmonic light, equivalent in force to your Sun, will be emitted from our outer outpost Satellite, at precisely 12:02 PST on the fifth day of your month of July. Amateur astronomers will most likely notice this activity but NASA will debunked it as “kilonova” ( a bright blast of electromagnetic radiation) seen from two neutron stars colliding. With that, everyone will go about their lives, recording the event, undisclosed to them , it’s was our planned event to edge Apophis on a safe directorial path, far away from earth.
We have taken the calculated risk of making contact once again with your species. We have selected only three officials across your globe who are capable of understanding the implications of this interaction.
One of these individuals is your American President, known for her sound decisions in the past two years.
Another is a Japanese scientist, a genius in his own right, who warned of the impending destruction of Japan in the year of our Lord 2025. His actions saved over 55 million people out of a total population of approximately 130 million. As you know, the continent of Japan faced the threat of a supermassive tsunami that would have dwarfed the one in 2011.Through sheer ingenuity, Professor Yoshio devised a plan to divert the tsunami’s destructive energy into a massive whirlpool that reached the stratosphere. This clever solution allowed the dispersed energy to be released into space, preventing any harm to the ocean or Japan. Professor Yoshio’s incredible feat and innovative solution were instrumental in saving countless lives.
Our final official comes from an unlikely source, considered by many of your kind to be merely a science fiction writer, Bari Marcus Anthony. In fact, he possesses the remarkable ability to foresee the future.
These three individuals are vital to the survival of planet Earth as you know it. Otherwise, your species, along with every living thing on Earth will cease to exist.
Your planet will become dormant for 100 thousand years, never to be the same as it is today, if we don’t act now. Even with mankind’s recent ventures to Mars, it is unlikely your human race will survive long enough to populate the harsh conditions of that planet. Extinction is a real possibility.
Considering these factors, our council agreed to make first contact with your American President. She is widely admired by all nations for her brief time as Acting President of the United States. At such a young age, she has far surpassed her predecessors. She became the second female President of the United States, with some comparing her to the ancient Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra. Her wise and calculated decisions, combined with her compassionate nature, have made her an instant success among her people and earned the admiration of other nations.
Our initial contact came through a dream, which prompted your President to seek the expertise of the Washington Paranormal Society. A team of seasoned paranormal investigators was assembled to delve deeper into this extraordinary occurrence. While some might dismiss this as irrational, I assure you that this dream was as tangible as our present interaction. Given the sensitive nature of the situation, it was the most prudent approach to establish contact with such a high-ranking official.
Nevertheless , in reality, the first direct contact was made by a representative of your President, the esteemed General Robert William Jason. Renowned for his diplomatic successes during the North Korean uprising in 2026, General Jason was instrumental in this groundbreaking encounter.
During his mission, General Jason stumbled upon Atlantis in its current state, a thriving alien civilization concealed within a protective bubble in space. Unwittingly, we welcomed his crew into our hidden world, where we and our ancestors spent over four thousand years. General Jason returned to Earth bearing technological gifts and a compelling recommendation for a meeting between our council members and your President.
And so, here we are today, discussing our motives with your President’s approval.
