About
Bari Marcus Anthony, a lifelong science fiction enthusiast, began writing at a young age. His culinary debut, Canadian Recipes of the Great White North, was published in 2008. Before delving into sci-fi manuscripts, he honed his craft by writing screenplays and promoting his short stories on his website, James Montana Scripts.
Black Angels — The Origin, Bari’s groundbreaking sci-fi novel, was released on Amazon Books in August 2022.
Raised in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Bari furthered his writing skills through the Applied Arts program at Okanagan College in Kelowna. Recognizing the need for a stable income, he pursued a career in architecture, completing the Architectural Technologist Program at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. After a decade of working in various engineering firms across Alberta and British Columbia, he achieved his goal of becoming an Architectural Technologist.
Beyond his literary pursuits, Bari is a devoted family man. He has been married to his beloved Patricia for 45 years, and they have two cherished daughters, Tianndra and Trisha ; Bari is also a proud grandfather.
Tragically, Bari and Patricia’s eldest child, Jenni Michelle, passed away at a young age due to Kawasaki disease. In her memory, they have contributed to the Children’s Stollery Foundation in Edmonton. Supporting the Children’s Stollery Foundation in Edmonton or Calgary helps save children’s lives.
