A Golden Dream
“Dreams are more real than life itself,” the old saying goes. I experienced this firsthand in a recent dream.
I awoke to the gentle caress of a warm breeze on my face. The familiar scent of salt and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore reminded me of Kaanapali Beach in Maui.
As I looked out at the vast tropical ocean, I noticed something peculiar: the sand was speckled with gold. Curiosity piqued, I scooped up a handful and examined it more closely. To my astonishment, the grains of gold slipped through my fingers.
Overwhelmed by excitement, I scanned the beach and realized the entire expanse was littered with gold. I couldn’t believe my luck.
Suddenly, I heard a voice. “Are you there?“
I realized I was wearing a communication device. “Yes, yes! Hello? Who is this?” I responded.
“Are you there?” the voice repeated.
The dream began to make sense. I was on a mission to explore a distant planet known as Delta 4. Earth had become uninhabitable, and advanced technology allowed a select few to travel through the universe with ease.
Dr. Smith, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, had developed a groundbreaking technology called “The Floating Molecules,” which enabled teleportation.
As I gazed at the three suns in the horizon, I wondered how this planet could sustain life.
“Our monitors are seeing everything you see now,” said Control Operator Karen. “Is everything alright?“
“I’m fine,” I replied. “It’s just amazing here. This planet is made of gold.“
I woke up, disappointed that the dream had ended. I adjusted my pillow and tried to drift back to sleep, hoping to continue my adventure on Delta 4.
A Dream of Paradise
I hope this intriguing dream continues in the future. I’ll need to analyze it further to understand its meaning.
Perhaps the dream reflects my longing for Hawaii. It’s been seven years since my last visit, and I miss the island’s beauty and tranquility.
Social media platforms like Instagram have made it easy to share travel experiences. However, I believe that a dedicated Facebook page for Hawaii enthusiasts could foster a stronger sense of community and connection.
Hawaii offers a variety of activities, from sunbathing and surfing to boating and snorkeling. I also have fond memories of visiting pineapple plantations.
Traveling to Hawaii from Canada can be costly and time-consuming. However, it’s worth the investment for those seeking a truly unforgettable experience.
