All my artistic endeavors, including my screenplay and published book “BLACK ANGELS,” are rooted in my fascination with ancient Egyptian mythology and the discovery of King Tut.

The seeds of “BLACK ANGELS” were sown in the 1980s when I began to question the origins of humanity and our destructive tendencies. I sought answers, believing they were out there waiting to be found.

Raised in an Italian Catholic household, I initially accepted the faith without question. However, years of observation left me unsatisfied with its doctrines. My thirst for knowledge remained unquenched.

Over a five-year period, I embarked on a quest to understand various religions, from Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons to the Baha’i Faith. Intrigued by the Baha’i Faith, I delved into its history and beliefs.

Founded by Baha’u’lláh in 19th-century Persia, the Baha’i Faith challenged the prevailing Islamic doctrines. Baha’u’lláh’s teachings were met with persecution, leading to his imprisonment and exile. Unfortunately, the suppression of dissenting religions continues today, fueling societal turmoil.

The Baha’i Faith posits that Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and Baha’u’lláh were divine messengers. Central to their beliefs is the concept of a unified and peaceful humanity, a goal that remains elusive despite our collective efforts.Regrettably, radical religious doctrines and the pursuit of power continue to hinder our progress toward peace.

After careful examination, I found all the religions I studied to be flawed in one way or another.  Each seemed driven by control and financial gain. It became painfully clear that man-made religions are often clouded by greed.

THE SEARCH AND OUR ANCESTORS

Following my religious exploration, I delved deeper into the historical records of the Syrians, Persians, Egyptians, and Romans. My research into ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian deities provided a more profound perspective on humanity’s origins.

Around 1995, I began writing a series of screenplays centered on the theory that extraterrestrial beings, referred to as the “Gods of the Heavens,” visited Earth and influenced our evolution. While my science-fiction horror screenplay “BLACK ANGELS” is fictional, it draws inspiration from historical accounts, including hieroglyphics and biblical prophecies. These sources suggest that mankind may have undergone premature genetic modification, potentially through the intervention of the Denisovans or Denisova hominins.

While this theory offers a potential explanation for the “missing link,” it also raises troubling implications. Despite our intelligence, humanity has become a dangerous species, prone to conflict and internal strife.

Disheartened by the current state of humanity, I immersed myself in the historical timeline of the Egyptian Dynasty. I realized that the pharaohs were merely representatives, attempting to emulate the actions and attributes of the divine beings they worshipped.

My recent research into King Tut’s reign led to a significant discovery: a trove of historical artifacts with a fascinating connection to the enigmatic boy king and his secret legacy.

King Tut's Chair

DISCOVERY OF KING TUT BY HOWARD CARTER AND ITS EXHIBITION

The King Tutankhamun Exhibition toured North America from 1976 to 1979, showcasing the remarkable tomb of the young pharaoh in the Valley of the Kings, nestled between the tombs of Rameses II and Rameses IV.

Despite previous looting attempts, archaeologist Howard Carter discovered four intact chambers in 1922. For years, Carter’s patron, Lord Carnarvon, had meticulously searched the Valley of the Kings, believing that Tutankhamun’s tomb was insignificant.

On November 22, 1922, Carter made a groundbreaking discovery: a chamber containing two additional chambers.Within the final chamber, he found a narrow corridor leading to a hidden burial chamber.

As described by the Canadian Museum of History, this chamber was guarded by two black sentry statues, representing the royal ka (soul) and symbolizing the hope of rebirth, similar to the qualities attributed to Osiris.

Carter’s perseverance was rewarded when he uncovered the fourth and final chamber, revealing the legendary tomb of King Tutankhamun. Inside, he found an astonishing collection of priceless golden treasures, considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century.

Personally, I would have loved to see these historical treasures in person, but unfortunately, the King Tut exhibition did not coincide with my attendance at the 1986 World Exposition in Vancouver. While we enjoyed other exhibits, such as “The Great Pharaoh Ramses and His Time,” they could not compare to the original King Tut exhibition.

The King Tutankhamun exhibition’s last stop in North America was at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. At the time, I was raising a family and couldn’t afford a trip to Egypt, where the artifacts remain today.

The reign of King Tutankhamun, a pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, is a fascinating chapter in ancient Egyptian history.

IN CONCLUSION

After years of studying various religions, reading historical texts, and examining artifacts, it became evident to me that throughout history, humans have strived to emulate the divine but have ultimately fallen short. Their technologies and architectural achievements pale in comparison to those attributed to the “true Gods.

The rapid development of the human brain within a relatively short evolutionary timeframe, coupled with our persistent violence, suggests that we may not have been alone during the emergence of Homo sapiens.

The disappearance of our ancestral creators remains a perplexing mystery. Their departure has left humanity searching for answers and speculating about their fate. It is possible that future space exploration, such as missions to Mars, could shed light on these questions.

My book and screenplay “BLACK ANGELS” may offer a possible explanation for the origins of our ancient ancestors, referred to as the “Gods of the Heavens.” I hope that Hollywood will bring this story to the screen, allowing audiences to explore these intriguing possibilities.
